Sometimes they touch you while overtaking and you explode like they threw a handgrenade at you (looks like they have a 'FUN!' button on their steering wheel which makes you randomly explode). Their cars seem to have varying stats when looking at acceleration and top speed - a car which could not keep up with you in one lap can magically go a way higher speeds the next lap. the CPU drivers are dumb like hell and to compensate that the game designers chose to let them cheat. I do understand that drifting is an essential part of the game but this is ridiculous.ĪI. yes, asphalt should be blue and all the car models should be replaced by racing boats.

Graphics wise the game is fine (but I wouldn't mind if there where some more options besides the slider on the lauchner).Įngine sounds. well, THEY seem to drive cars and I am the one getting those race boats. I'm halfway through the game by now, which I achieved by hopping back and forth between districts when new cars became available and I saw a chance to beat all the other boat racers.
